Access hatch, electron gun (or is that a mass-spec head?), couple of large gate valves, camera, possibly a manipulator. Presuming a sample test chamber. Don't see the facility for baking the chamber though, so not something requiring ultraclean/low-pressure readings.
What the movies fail to grasp is that more often than not, true science is an incomprehensible mass of inch-thick machined aluminum or stainless steel components with immense rivets, surrounded by veritable forests of wires, cables and power cords.
I seem to recall it's a machine they use for making titanium nitride coatings on things. Cambridge Chemistry Department has some much better ones, though, all the way along the north wing on the ground floor.
