Ken 10 theories
Warning: Spoilers Abound for those who have not yet seen this Episode! Read at your own risk!
So there were many things of Ken 10 that made me more confused than answered questions.
- Lack of Mother, with clear defination that it is not Gwendolyn.
- Ken referring to Gwendolyn as "Aunt Gwen" and Ben correcting him that Gwen's his first cousin once removed.
- This doesn't mean Ben has disowned Gwendolyn, for the people not knowing cousin terms. It means there's a generation gap between Gwendolyn and Ken meaning Gwendolyn's grandfather (Max) is Ken's great-grandfather.
- And Ken would have to have been taught to address Gwen as "Aunt" so, why the correction of first cuz once removed... unless to snip the Bwen shippers in the bud. (if that's the case, FRAG YOU, MOA!)
- The lack of Mother is interesting because of the two choices it brings up for the mixed-heritage of Ken.
-Kai, who is of Native American (Navajo, ain't it?)/Mexicanish decent.
-Charmcaster, who appears to be Mulatto.
-Gwendolyn's present with the stone gargoyle thingy makes one wonder Charmcaster, and would that make Ken worse than any other Ben 10 mary sues out there. Not only does he have an Omnitrix but it also opens the door to magic using. Canon Gary Stus are not freaking cool. Period.
- There is no sign that Gwendolyn has family and what not... and Ben is using her for parental advice. WTF? Why her when Grandpa Max (who has raised his own kids, and put a hand in rearing Ben and Gwen so definately HAS expierence more than apparently Old Maid Gwen) is living in his RV in his basement?
- Gwendolyn far off on another planet. It's almost like role-reversal here, Ben more in touch with his family and Gwendolyn distance. Which considering there were innuendo she was living with Future Max in Ben 10k why the change?
Darn. To be continued. My patience and my sanity is drifting away. I got another 50+ week coming up so don't expect updates on this within the next five days. But if anyone has any answers/more questions to bring up, please do. I so enjoy reading other peoples thoughts. Ben/Gwen fans unite!
