>_> yes, because I really needed a new fandom. Seriously.

Title: Resisting Gravity
Length: ficlet
Author: M_K Yujji
Rating: g
Genre: friendship,
Pairing/Characters: Doojoon, Yoseob
Warnings: RPF
Disclaimer: Though real people are used as characters, this fic bears no resemblance to Real Life and these people are not owned by me.

Comments/Notes: I am still learning about these boys, so please feel free to point and laugh if I suck horribly. ;_; just... point and laugh quietly? >_> and the title and summary make it seem more slashy than it is, I think. Honestly, I call this gen, though there is also a bit of a Doojoon/Yoseob vibe in it.

Summary: No one can resist gravity for long.

“Yoseob?” Doojoon paused as he came around the tree and finally found his erstwhile missing band mate, sprawled out on the grass, staring dreamily at the sky. He sighed and rolled his eyes, understanding finally why he'd just spent the last half hour tromping around the park calling for someone who wouldn't answer.

The entire day of filming had been boring and wearing and more than anything else, he just wanted to get his band back home, eat some dinner, and pass out on the nearest semi-comfortable surface for a few hours.

Something he could have been well into doing if everyone had stayed where they were supposed to be.

He crouched down next to Yoseob and tugged the earbud away from one ear - then winced in sympathy for the guy's poor mistreated ear drums at the volume. “Geez, Seobie. You're going to make yourself deaf.”

The blonde just laughed and reached up to pull Doojoon down with him. “Come on, hyung, watch the clouds with me.”

“No, no, no, we have to-”

But it was like resisting gravity and before he was even aware of how it happened, Doojoon found himself sprawled beside Yoseob staring up at the sky. He sighed and shook his head as the younger man started pointing out various shapes and making up stories to go along with them.

“Aish~ Doojoooooon~” Yoseob whined slightly, pouting and poking at Doojoon's arm. “You're not even trying to see.”

Doojoon hesitated for a moment, eyes resting on his friend's crestfallen expression before turning back to the sky. He couldn't remember the last time he'd tried to see shapes in the clouds. Or even the last time he'd looked up into the sky with any more consideration than how the weather was going to affect their schedule.

They were all just... clouds.

He bit his lip and tried harder, wanting to bring the smile back to Yoseob's face.

Finally, he pointed to a lump of cloud.

“There. It's a … “ his mind scrambled for a moment, blank. “Elephant.”

Yoseob gave him a funny look, but then followed the line of his finger up to the cloud Doojoon had chosen. He turned his head this way and that, nearly smashing into Doojoon's nose at one point, before nodding. “Yeah... I can sort of see it.”

Which meant Yoseob had one hell of an imagination, because Doojoon had just said the first thing that had come to his mind.

“What's it doing?” Yoseob asked, grinning at him.

“It's getting dinner. Which we should have done an hour ago.” Doojoon rolled over and hopped up before reaching down to pull Yoseob to his feet. “If they've resorted to cannibalism while they were waiting, I have to tell you, I'm letting them eat you.”

Yoseob just laughed and wrapped his arms around Doojoon. “No you won't. You'll protect me.”

Though he made a face and tugged Yoseob's head down for a quick noogie, Doojoon had to concede - to himself, at least - that yeah, he probably would.
