Comments/Notes: This was my very first idea for fic when I dipped my toes into the DBSK fandom. I saw the Tri-Angle video and everything just... clicked. The story line from beginning to end was always something known to me. I could picture it right from conception. The problem was that I wanted to basically create my own mythos for the AU world that borrowed elements from several different real religions and mythologies, but wasn't really any of them.
When I first started writing the fic, I was working at a bookstore - which in and of itself was amazingly helpful to the research process since I had easy access to a vast library of material - and one of my co-workers was a veritable walking encyclopedia of mythology and religion. That was helped, no doubt, by the fact that she was in fact a Wiccan Priestess who also taught classes locally (I never did find out if it was high school, college, or just something within her coven sadly). Busy, busy, wonderful woman. If she didn't know the answers to my questions, she knew where to look. She helped me with the initial crafting of the basic boundaries for the AU world in this fic. When the bookstore closed and we lost touch, it was a little like my muse followed her and it took quite a long time for me to find that little spark again. I think in some ways, I was just afraid to venture forward without her there to keep me from stumbling into something stupid or impossible within the boundaries we'd set. The encouragement and curiosity of my friends and readers finally made me realize that even if I made some mistakes, it was better to try and move it forward than to let it languish forgotten and incomplete forever.
There really is no way that this fic would ever been written without the efforts of many different people, and I would like to thank everyone who had a part in it, from my Wiccan researcher to my wonderful beta's and endless source of encouragement to the wonderful readers who bore with the long gaps between updates and the occasional fear that the fic would never be completed.
