Well, I'd despite all of that, I'd still like to friend you and be friended in return. I found your LJ through the SGA fandom (I have no idea if you're still into that or now, but even if you aren't we probably have other common interests to talk about. X3). So, friend me back please?
Hey, no problem =D SGA is still technically my main fandom, but I'm afraid I've lost such track of the world lately that I just haven't been able to keep up with it, so I've been lurking a great deal. Hopefully when life calms down a bit I'll be able to get back into it, as I've been missing fandom something terrible for a long while now =)
I love the SGA fandom very very muchly. It's my main fandom and probably will be for a long long time. The only other fandom I can recall being this obsessed with is Harry Potter. Unfortunately, I'm severely ADHD and therefore I switch off fandoms easily (it will probably be a mess of SGA, HP, Psych, Supernatural, Doctor Who / Torchwood and whatever else I may happen to get into) and I have this problem of being able to obsess over one fandom at a time. DX
Lost track of SGA... you mean your real life has been wreaking havoc and smacking SGA down in the process? D: That sucks. ;__; I can't imagine my life without fandoms and fanfiction. But then, I don't really have much of a life so that's a large majority of the reason. >.I hope you get back into SGA soon too! :3 It would be really cool to have someone to talk about it with. XD I don't understand how such a huge fandom could feel like it has such a small following. I have maybe 3-4 friends who are sort of into it. o.O And there's only one I can really talk about it with but she's

Oh SGA fandom is an absolute blast to be in. I've been hanging around in it since very near the beginning, in one way or another, and it really has been my favorite, and longest lasting fandom to date. I'm kinda the same as you, my attention span doesn't always hold for very long with fandoms. It's usually a couple months of obsession quickly followed by me switching to a new fandom. Atlantis fandom is one of the few that I've actively participated in, as I'm generally a lurker by nature. It's also the fandom that really got me to come out of my fic-writing shell and start posting stuff here and there, everybody was just so supportive

I added you as a friend, because I love your SGA "The Call". It's one of my absolute favorites and I have re-read it many times when I have not had the greatest day :) SGA is my main fandom and I totally envy your math ability. I barely passed stats.
Heya! Just added you back =) I'm glad you liked that one, it was one of the first fics I ever got rid of my general writing-shyness long enough to post, so it always makes me giddy to hear that people liked it ;)
My math ability is pretty much continually in question though, at least in my own mind. Three semesters of calculus courses killed my brain to the point where I'm not longer sure I can do basic addition without crying. I start Differential Equations this fall though, that ought to kill whats left of my sanity XD The longer I continue with this major, the more convinced I become that I should have been an English major like the rest of my gene pool.
