I know you must feel awful, but I'm sure she'll be fine. Trust me, I've seen accidents with much worse consequences than cuts and bruises.

Yeah but something about seeing your baby with blood dripping out of her mouth inspires a lot of sudden and disturbing emotion.

The doc said she tore her labial frenulum. Surely there's a common kind of word for that but I don't know it. Anyway, apparently it will look godawful while healing, but she'll never miss it.
