It took me until at latest 2005 to realize I wasn't in the right relationship. It took me until 2007 to realize that even putting enough effort to pretend to care wasn't worth it. That's when you noticed. It took me until 2009 to realize that I would actually rather be alone. Yes, I can be slow on the uptake about certain things. Can't we all. I learned my lesson - knowing I'd rather be alone than with someone tiresome makes dating so much simpler
