That is one of the most honest and beautiful things I have ever heard someone say about a friend. I am glad you have someone so wonderful, and that she has you!
if I'm allowed to regret anything, it's that I didn't vocalize how much she meant to me when she was always there During the short while I got to spend with both of you it was always obvious how much you meant to each other. Maybe not said aloud and vocalized explicitly to one another, but implied in every bit of interaction and everything you had to say about each other.
our love for questionable music What do you mean, questionable? XD I still miss your singing in the car and wish I'd known any of the lyrics to sing along.
I'm glad that you two found each other because I honestly believe both of you deserve this friendship more than most people I know would. And I can relate to your loneliness and the hurt her leaving caused you, since I was the same when my brother moved out. It took me god knows how long to get used to not being able to just walk into the next room to be with him.
Those last few paragraphs are probably the least lame things you've ever posted about someone, just saying. <3
Oh, it's okay. You know me - I nearly cry when I put Pride & Prejudice in the DVD player for goodness sake! (though this is a little more special than that)
I've always said that I wish I had a friend I could be as good of friends with as you are with Megs, and I mean it! I love reading this, it makes me happy. It's just so infectious (...in a good way...) to see you always happy together in pictures. :D
My favorite line, though -- She is the heart-safe.
So simple, yet so perfect. Thanks for sharing it with us. (Pensive pongo reappears.)
Beautifully articulated, and I can relate to a lot of it from my own friendships. Also, having only met Megs on time IRL, I still got a feel for all of these things you're saying about her.
