But I know how you feel. I've never really had a dream career either, so I felt like I was kinda just in school for the sake of being there. That's why I stopped after I got my Associates. I never really found my "nitch" as they say. But I feel down sometimes when I hear friends aiming for goals/dreams and I've never had any of that. :/ I wonder which is worse, having big dreams but not being able to achieve them, or not having any big dreams at all? Saa....
I'm content where I am now for the most part, only because I absolute adore my boss and coworkers and we have lots of fun. Once you graduate and find a full time job, hopefully you'll be able to find something like that too.
See, the thing is, I DID graduate. This is the only job I've been able to get so far, which is why I'm depressed about it. I need the kind of money this job offers to pay back my loans for school, and the degree I paid for isn't even helping me find a job I want. So I'm frustrated.
At least there's someone else who feels like me ;_; *hug*
Don't feel too bad. Out of all the people I know who graduated this year, maybe around 5 or 6 found jobs. I blame the recession. I graduated with my degree in French and German and I'm working at a computer company that gives support to sped teachers. Not exactly where I thought I'd be right now. But knowing how many people haven't found jobs yet, I feel like I have something at all. So I'll be staying put until something better comes along. Good luck!
The work world sucks. I graduated too, band I'm thankfully one of those that did get one of those 9-5 job things. But it's nowhere near my dream job. Keep searching, I'm sure you'll find something :)
