I feel bad for the juniors who had to clean up the field, but then couldn't pick it up. Even as a freshman, I was looking forward to trashing the field. That's how we used to pick up the set markers. It wasn't so bad having to do it freshman year and then not getting to trash it senior year, because it was just the one year. But I don't get how the picnic is such a big deal. All you do is eat with your class instead of with your normal group. Doesn't that seem more like torture (light use of the word) than fun? It would have been fun to have been able to trash the field, then take pictures of it when it was done, and take pictures of everyone else cleaning it up. Tee-hee.
