Yikes. What exactly does your dad do? What does Dale do? I haven't a firm grasp on it. I'm sorry that debts seem to be running high. Does James work? Perhaps he can chip in, and maybe your dad can find a job that won't hurt him as much as his current seems to have hurt him.
Dad is suppose to be an independent distributor for Rath Inc. Which technically means that he's self employed. However, Mr. Rath doesn't see it that way. Though he pays no taxes for my dad and there are no contracts or other such signs of employment, he tells my dad when he must leave for work, how to do his job, who he can sell to, and when he can come home. In other words, if my dad sneezes, Jerry wants to know about it. Even though Jerry is not responsible for dad's insurance, taxes, 401k, benefits or anything else that goes hand-in-hand with employment. What he does is threaten my dad with his job. See, dad buys a special product from Jerry that you can't buy anywhere else. All of dad's accounts buy this product and ONLY this product because Jerry won't let him sell them anything else. For instance, if he found out that dad was buying frozen food from some other company and selling it to the customers, Jerry would refuse to sell him his product and consequently cost dad his job.
