Derrick invited us out to his place in Wilson, Oklahoma so that he could cut us a check. Wilson is a good two and a half hours from where we live, but since we desperately needed the money (my car payment is due tomorrow) we decided to head that way and try to get a few things straightened out about our pay

Can I please, Please, PLEASE hurt him? I mean, naturally, y'all get uber first dibs, but I seriously would just love to pin him up on the wall and throw darts at him, just for a start. Oh oh! And we can take an eraser to his balls and scrub at his nads 'til they're no longer there! That'd be a plenty-painful enough way to be castrated! Ooh! And then we could poise him over a tank of VERY hungry pirhana and repeatedly dip him in and laugh at his screams while they nibble on him none-too-gently!
And then I wanna hang him from the ceiling by his wrists (if they're still attatched) and use him as a punching bag!

I honestly don't have any words for how horrifying this has been. You hit the nail on the head though with the "nightmare" comment. That seems to be the best way to describe what happened Wednesday night. It was a nightmare. Slipping in and out of consciousness,... wondering what the hell we were still doing there,... feeling threatened and vulnerable,... feeling trapped,... feeling foolish. It was very much a nightmare.

Tomorrow I'll try and write about what happened today with the check thing. It's an equally interesting story. ;)

Way to go, girl! I can't imagine being put in this situation, but you handled it well, with going to the police. I wouldn't have known what to do. I just can't believe all this is going. I've read your entries, and it kind of leaves me speechless. I just don't understand how people can do some of the things they do to people, and not think anything of it. It's one thing if this guy is trying to scam the two of you. That I can get, people do it/try to do it all the time...but making you wait outside for hours, and then just going to bed, without a word to you guys, and being to scared to come to the door...childish. No matter what the outcome, this guy should definately be put out of business because clearly he can't handle it. I just don't see how someone can be like that. I hope you nail this guy and screw up everything he has going for him...He deserves it.
