Yeah, I'm right there with ya. Bodies are finicky little bastards. Soy sauce, though; that's bizarre. Were you sick after dinner on Sunday? Does a small amount hurt?

In and of itself, I'm not allergic to soy sauce. But it contains vinegar, made from wine and therefore fermented. The yeast allergies signal a sensitivity to ferments. Plus some soy sauce contains sugar, which feeds yeast.

Honestly? I didn't notice a difference. Then again, I'm accustomed to, well, feeling bad all the time. Basically my doc wants me to do a three month purge of all these things I'm reacting to, then I can add them back in, one at a time, one week at a time.

Help, plz.

Sooo... you showed me your handy little cooking trainer, and I was wondering. If I gave you the list of foods I'm allowed to have on given days, could you hunt me up some recipes? I'm feeling rather saddened and resigned to only eating plain fish for three months. (Well, okay, I looked more closely, and I can have some non-seafood protein every day.)

It could be. I'm much less stressed, though. Of course, I could need to do the three month purge like my doc wants, and then I may balance out. Blech.

It does explain why I had a 'lactose intolerant' reaction to yogurt, though. Allergies.

Help?

If I gave you a list of the foods I'm allowed on given days, could you see if you have any recipes that would work? I'm hunting about on recipezaar and food network and just not having a lot of luck. Mostly because they sorted out what spices and seasonings I can have by day as well.
