Thoughts on 40

So my 40th birthday is today. I’m not sure exactly how I feel about that. I certainly don’t feel 40 most of the time, and people are always telling me I don’t LOOK 40. My body is beginning to act 40 though.

I certainly expected to be somewhere else in my life by now. That “somewhere” has changed a lot over the years.

as an "over-40", yeah, I can relate. as for the pregnancy thing? talk to your doctor. I actually lost weight during the first few months of my pregnancy with Nick (even had the doc yell at me) because I was eating better & taking better care of myself. Ironically, the foot issues are caused by the lower back pain. Get yourself to a chiropractor, woman! You can lose weight & still have back issues if your spine is badly out of alignment.
