Funny that you say that. I hate that hat. So many things went wrong and I was panicking and sewing the damn brim on after being LATE to the green room for the competition and workmanship judging. It is SO sloppy on the inside and outside, even though it just rocks visually. It is also not as sturdy as I wanted to to be. *sigh* It was the piece I was the most worried about when she showed me the sketch.

I'm in total agreement with Sheepy. That hat is amazing. The outfit itself turned out really nice!! Those are the first pics I've seen of that one. The silvery patterned fabric- is it stretchy?

And, of course, I love your Kimono entry... but you knew that back in November. Yay! :-)

^__^ Thank you! The gray stuff is a slinky knit stuff that is a 4 way stretch. It stretches a lot (stretch is such a pain to sew!!). It is a pretty bitch'n hat. I think that more the farther away I get from when I had to construct it.

I believe I said that when you were in the Balticon green room too. They both turned out FANTASTIC. You ROCK! Sooooo, whacha doing next year ;)

I loved the buckle I idea you had for your Single Pattern Contest garment when I saw it at Costume Con.

Thank you very much! I've never worked with buckles before this, so I am glad they turned out as well as they did!!

I loved your pink "cup cake dress" (as I have thusly dubbed it in my head), the lovely historical pink dress that you wore at Balticon a few years ago - darned awesome! And your lolita (for the 30 seconds I saw you in the hall) was really cute!!
