Cute! I'm glad he's doing better. :) We had a couple kittens ride under the hood once for the two hours down to SC, get out and play while there, then ride back. How's Chris' grad school search going?

Oh, and I doubt you have to worry about the medicine thing. I had to give Sweetpea medicine when we first got her and she's forgiven me. If a female parakeet can do it, a friendly little kitty will have no problem. ;)

Oh he's so cute!

Sonnet came with an eye infection and I spent the first two months of our "bonding time" forcing eyedrops into her eyes. Now she follows me around to the point of constantly tripping me and snuggles in my lap every chance she gets.

It probably helped that after every dose, I gave her a kitty treat. Bribery works.

Harrumph! I know a thing or two about cute little kitties that worm their way into your heart and home only to become sick and expensive and break your heart and your pocketbook! Well, I hope that Sammy proves to be less expensive than and more healthy than my Annie. He sure is cute, though.

Fortunately since I've been fostering him and didn't technically adopt him, I can get all my supplies and whatnot from the shelter or one of the groups it works with. Plus the vet gave us a huge discount since he was a foster kitty :). Hopefully he will only continue to improve!
