Eli: I don't know. Why?
Me: I'm just curious.
Eli: Hmm..maybe mid-20s?
Me: ??!! For some reason I thought she was in her 40s!
Eli: ....She seriously looks older than 40 to you?
Me: Something about her voice....
Eli: Whoa...ouch!

It's kind of like how Fiona Apple and Katy Perry have nice deep womanly voices :-)

Gah! Yes, the make-up must be part of it. I don't know, I never would think Fiona or Katy were much older than how they actually are. Fiona's voice is sort of sultry and a bit less high than a lot of female singers, but she still sounds pretty young to me.
