Dang I feel as though I should look into renewing my passport, just in case. I'm not sure that it's expired just yet, but would not be surprised to find that it was.

Pret sure they're good for 10 years. I know when I got mine, so that's my reference. I only used it the once.

Oh hey KATJES, what's up?

I first left the country before 1994 (I believe I went to London in Spring 1994, and I know I went to the Bahamas before that but don't remember if that requires a passport?) and my most recent leaving of the country was in 2003. I THINK that when I first got my passport, I was young enough that it was good for less than 10 years, so at some point along the way I got it renewed. The question is, did I do that like in 2003, or like in 1997? I really have no idea, but I'm at least PRETTY sure that I'm on my second passport. This mystery shall be solved forthwith!

well well well. it just so happens that Janet and I are going to Greece from April 24 till May 3 (well, those are my dates, hers may vary a little).

I know it's hella expensive, but you should try to go. Send out a cry for funding to all relatives. Tell them that it's a once in a lifetime chance and that you will also be crossing the border into Albania...
