I don't know if it's close or not(in fact I think mines a touch more garlic-y) as I only have a bit of taste-memory but I made some awesomeness today regardless

yep...Karen brought back this olive/basil tapenade from a Nice farmer's market and I'm trying to duplicate it, as it is pretty cost prohibitive to go buy a jar. I think I came close today...
Unfortunately, it being the end of basil season, the real mad scientist approach is going to have to wait until next year.
