yesterday i reserved our room for comic-con 07. i decided that it's worth it to stay across the street. holy crap, it's going to be expensive, but i figure i have time to start a little "comic-con hotel room savings account". i found the marriott to be cheaper than the hilton so went that route. the description of the room sounds lovely, so

The Marriott is great! We used to stay there before I started working at SLG. Don't know if it's changed in five years, but when we stayed there we were very happy with our room and the hotel in general. They have a really nice pool, too.

Oh good! That makes me feel so much better. : ) I figured I'd better do it now while it's still fresh in my mind how bad it sucked to drive and/or take the trolley. hehe.
