I loved the quiet interaction between Saito and Robert, how we see that it truly is a strong friendship! I also loved that we see more into Robert's motivations and learning just why Ariadne meant so much to him! It was beautifully done!
My heart clenched when they touched down and parting from Mark (oh GAWD WAS HE THE ONE WHO WAS SHOT OH GAWD?!) and them coming into the empty house! Damn, so many shudders and the horror and confusion on Arthur's and Mal's actions and just, that ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!! *flops around and wails*
But seriously, I'm totally enjoying this world and I'll make sure to have the tissue paper ready because I think in going to be crying so much before this story ends (and possibly after?!?!?!). EXCELLENT STORY!!!!!

And I can conclusively tell you that no, Mark wasn't the one who shot Arthur. It would have been a nice twist, but at the time I originally wrote this, Mark didn't even have a name. Horrible Dead Man is just a randon guy. :)

But now... Now... Arthur's dead? But wait, shouldn't you have then changed the warnings to include proper character death? Not to mention you still have five chapters to go. *eyes narrow* I suspect not all is as it seems and I will cling to that because it gives me hope.

Shh, you. No one else has caught that yet. ;) I'm glad you like Saito and Fischer, though. They're fun to write.

This is so brilliant! :DDDD I love the description you put in - SO good for setting the mood! Yes! And the interaction between Saito and Fischer is made of WIN. This is much better! Awesomesauce! I can't wait to see what you do with the next chapter once I'm through with it. *cackle*
Typos:
He guessed that going trough hell with someone was bound to make some lasting ties. Through.
He ran a frantic hand through his hair, and turned to see Saito disappearing into the hallway to wake Mike. Mark.
One major advantage to the storm was that most of the zombies had retreated form open space to take cover... From.
Fischer looked conflicted, but he knew how mark must feel. Just need to capitalize.
“We’re certainly glad to some other survivors.” To SEE some other...
