In the dead of the night - chapter two
Chapter two...btw, this is set in 17th england...lol, forgot that last time! Please leave comments!
Jaejoong trudged up to his room, thinking. Yunho has surprised him. After talking to Jaejoong so much over their starter, the beautiful boy had not said a word to Jaejoong, or even look at him with those cold eyes for the rest of the meal. Boa had been very kind to him, and offered to give him a tour of the mansion in the mourning, which Jaejoong had accepted.
The boy Junsu had been very friendly, and Yoochun had been kind, but behind their facades Jaejoong suspected a lack of trust in strangers. He desperately missed his best friend, Changmin. Changmin had been his only friend throughout childhood, but now he was miles away, and they would probably never see each other again.
Jaejoong flopped down on his bed as soon as he reached his room. Startled, he noticed that someone had unpacked all of his bags for him. The teddy his aunt had given him lay on his bed between his pillows.
Crawling under the duvets, Jaejoong snuggled his teddy close of him, and felt his tears pour onto the bears soft head. He had never felt so alone.
In the morning, Jaejoong got lost on the way to breakfast, so when he finally got to the dinning room, Jaejoong was not surprised to find no one there. The maid, Hyori, came in, and Jaejoong jumped as she spoke.
“The master and mistress are...out right now, sir.”
“But, Boa promised me a tour this morning!”
Hyori looked at him skeptically
“Are you sure she said morning, sir?” Now he thought about, Boa hadn’t specified at what time, he had just assumed.
“If you follow me, sir, breakfast has been laid out for you in the kitchen. The family only eats in here for dinner and formal lunches.” Jaejoong nodded, and allowed her to lead him to the kitchen.
Some hours later, and Jaejoong was very bored. Everyone was out, and all the servants were busy. There were several rooms he was not allowed in, and when he passed by the doors to these rooms, he was sure he felt bad omens aimed at him. He couldn’t explain it. He was also suspicious that whenever he went near a room, all the movement seemed to stop within it.
The rest of the ‘family’ didn’t appear till late - at least seven in the evening, and Yunho and Yoochun walked right past him when they entered the sitting room, and walked straight to the games room. Jaejoong got the feeling he was not welcome to follow. Only Junsu stayed behind, looking awkwardly at Jaejoong. It was obvious that he was supposed to follow the other two, just as it was obvious that he wished he had.
“So, um, Jaejoong. How was your first day here?”
“It was...interesting” Jaejoong lied.Junsu raised an eyebrow, but didn’t call Jaejoong on his bluff. Deciding to move on, Jaejoong asked
“How long have you known Yunho and Yoochun?”
“I’ve known Yoochun ever since I can remember, and Yunho. I was six when he came, and he was eight, I believe.”
“It was very kind of Myung Min to take you all in.”
“Well, we are alike.”
“Alike?”
“We have similar, needs. You wouldn’t understand.”
At the last words, Jaejoong felt his isolation mount up once again, and wanted to run to his room and stay there forever. Aware that he had upset jaejoong, Junsu quickly said
“Not that that matters now! Myung Min must know something about you that he hasn’t told us, that’s all.” And Junsu truly thought this. None of them, not even Boa could work out why myung Min had agreed to let Jaejoong live with them when he was so different, and so in danger with them.
Unsure wether this was a compliment or not, Jaejoong smiled nervously at Junsu.
YUNHO’S POV
“I feel for that Jaejoong, you know.” At that Yunho’s head snapped up towards Yoochun
“What?”
“Being left alone here all day like that, with no one to talk to.” Oh. He didn’t mean he liked the boy in that sense. He pitied him. Yunho could not have explained why, but he felt relieved at this. Without pausing, Yoochun carried on talking.
“I mean, his aunt just died, he’s an orphan, and he is miles away from his friends. The last thing he needed was to be left lone. But it’s not like there was an alternative, is it? I still don’t get why Myung Min asked him to stay here.”
Yunho reacted to what Yoochun said. Jaejoong had no one else in the world right now, and if he was to stay here, he would be alone all day, every day. Even if he found out their secret, he couldn’t possibly come with them. It would mean almost certain death. Although, if he new the secret, Jaejoong might opt for death anyway, thought Yunho with a chuckle.
Knocking softly on the door, Yunho opened it noiselessly, and stepped inside jaejoong’s room. He had not been in this room for years. It had been his when he first came to live with the family. The only differences now were a more cheerful set of pillows and duvets, and a teddy on the bed. There was the usual vase of black lilies on the dresser. Yunho was surprised they hadn’t switched to white. Surely black would just remind Jaejoong of his aunt’s death.
He flicked through one of the books on Jaejoong’s nightstand. ‘Tess of the Derbervilles’. Smiling, Yunho closed the book. He turned slowly around, only to see Jaejoong standing shellshocked in the doorway.
“What are you doing in my room, Yunho?” The smaller mans voice was suspicious.
“I was just looking for you, actually.”
“For me?”
“Yes. A friend of mine is having a party, and I thought this would be a good chance for you to meet new people.”
“What time?”
“Excuse me?”
“What time are we leaving?”
“Meet me by the main door in half an hour.”
“Are you sure that’s a good idea,Yunho?” Asked a worried Junsu.
“Why on earth did you invite him!”
“Look, I don’t see the problem.”
“Because, you IDIOT, almost half the guest are like us!”
“So, they won’t touch him if we’re there. He deserves some fun.”
JAEJOONG’S POV
Jaejoong was excited to go to the party, and the carriage to Yunho’s friends house - or mansion, rather - seemed to last forever.
When they finally arrived, several men dressed in formal suits helped them out of the carriage. A lot of beautiful young women were milling around, pointing towards the four new arrivals, and handsome men were chasing after them, sending resentful looks towards Yoochun, Junsu, Jaejoong and Yunho.
There was a group of wind instruments and a few pianos playing pretty music for light dancing, and lot of people were dancing under a huge chandelier.
A few hours later, and Jaejoong had danced with several girls, and had made an escape from all of them. He was in fact just running away from a particularly busty girls, whose cleavage was so low, Jaejoong knew that they would fall out of if the two danced anymore. He ran up the stairs, trying not to knock anyone. The entire evening, people had been giving him strange looks. Hungry looks. Oddly enough, it was always extremely beautiful people.
He finally found an empty room, and pushed the doors open. It was a large and comfy looking bedroom, with a plush bed. The only trouble was, there were two people already on it.
Jaejoong tried to turn away without making a sound, but the two turned to face him. However, they didn’t stop.
What Jaejoong saw made him want to scream. All their cloths were on, and the stunning girl in his arms was moaning with pleasure. It was him, and what he was doing that shocked Jaejoong.
It was Yunho, and he was suckling on the girls neck. No, suckling was the wrong word. He was sucking, with blood running down to her dress.
