today was a good day.sammy nate my mom and I went to lunch with my dad. we met him at work and ate outside. sammy loved the boats and the motorcycle. Making it through
Dan made a great point. I expect sammy to be "normal" so when the autism is in my face it makes me sad. But for sam autism is his "normal" and that needs to be ok. I have to stop trying to fix him and just start accepting him. It's hard. he was supposed to be my normal one LOL. way too much pressure.
