Before you created your character you chose a realm to play on. It also shows up in the lower right hand corner when you open the game. That's the server. :)
ARGH! Why is it that as soon as I quit WoW, all my friends start playing?
Heh, heh. Best of luck to you! I stopped playing a while ago because the second long-term guild (in which I had heavily invested myself) fell apart. My account officially dies on the 19th (I bought it six months at a time), and I don't want to log in for fear of getting sucked in all over again.
Also, you're a night elf. I only play Horde, for moral reasons. Enjoy, though!
