Also, I feel I have become stupid. I sat here trying to focus on this for the five seconds it would take to READ it... and I couldn't. What thefuck is wrong with me? I missed class AGAIN today. I can't do anything. I am falling apart.

What you have said about technology being the idealogy is not a new concept, over 40 years ago, Marshal McLuhan stated that "The medium IS the message"
Same thing.
However, if you think that 1984 is not relevant, examine the Patriot Act.
Scares the bejabbers outta me.
