Outside Basilisk Cabin; After 5th Period

May 16, 2007 12:17

Right after his workshop ended, Alphonse started to head right for his cabin. Nevermind the power had gone out-- he had a window, it was bright enough outside, and that shouldn't keep him from being able to do whatever in his alcove. He just didn't want to be outside, for now.

[ ooc: short post is short, and for setsuna O: ]

oh look a serious moment, sakurazaki, cabins, orz

That workshop...had left Setsuna sour. Very sour, and she kept thinking about that whole issue of trust and the response her answer had inspired in Alphonse. She was thinking about his response, too, and Squall's whole ridiculous...ridiculous. The whole thing had been ridiculous. She had her reasons for not trusting anyone. And if anyone should understand that, it was Alphonse, because he knew better than anyone...or she thought he would. Either way, she couldn't get it out of her mind. So she diverted her path to her cabin to catch up with Alphonse on his way to his.

"Alphonse!" she called out to him, jogging up before he got inside.

When he heard his name, Alphonse paused in his steps, reluctantly turning around to face her. Maybe he could've just continued on, but he knew that would probably make things, well, worse. He hadn't really expected her to come after him either, which was why he was looking up at her, unsure what to say.

Maybe the entire thing had been ridiculous-- or perhaps it wasn't, but Alphonse didn't know what to think of it all.

Well, now that she'd stopped Alphonse and gotten his attention, Setsuna'd have to say something, although she didn't know what. Somehow, 'I'm sorry that I'm such a cold, jaded bastard' didn't seem very natural, although that's what she was feeling. She didn't even have to apologize, really; it was no fault of her own that she was that way, or that Alphonse thought so differently, but....she didn't like the idea of them being such polar opposites on an issue. Especially not one as important as trust.

Especially, since, really...she did trust Alphonse. Unfailably. Squall was right that there was at least one person she could trust, but it certainly wasn't herself. It was Alphonse.

She swallowed. "...some class, huh?" she said, lamely, and ducked her head in shame over her inability to just say what she was thinking.

Yup. Definitely some class, if he could put it that way

Alphonse easily picked up the avoidance in her voice. "Hm, yeah," he responded simply. He paused, realizing that sort of response was just beating around the bush, too. Obviously Setsuna wanted to say something to him, he just didn't know what to say to her, first.
