"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."
yea thats what really pushed it over too! i mean i know people breed there dogs and have the capacity to still care for them after age but the way that women describes this women is awful! shes what started to to do rescues i cant beleive her nails were curled into her paws! the way she describes that is exactly like a home puppy mill :(
i only wanted one dog to come from a breeder and that was a c how chow because sky is so lil they arent always very kid friendly full grown unless they are grown up around them, but instead i realized the need of all the bullys that needed homes, i wanted to adopt an older one but chris was afraid that any dog past 6months is hard for us to train around with sky, since sky is our #1 priority. but after my boys retire (its what i call when they die) i'm gonna rescue a full chow chow! i dont want to buy from a breeder w hen i see puppies come into my job every weekend needing homes that are only 6wk old from people who threw them there to be put down, seriously there puppies! its not hard to find a puppy a home, i dont know why people give them to a shelter, u can place adds everywhere and eventually your lil ones will be gone in a zip! full grown dogs on another hand are hard to find homes tho. i like slightly older dogs cos no potty training lol but booger sky here

yea shelters are cruel places and most put dogs down by breed or something simple like the mange that can be cured with a few meds. they dont care. the shelter that was closest to us before we moved here automatically put a pit down after the five day waiting period of the owner to see if his dog was there or not weather it was trained for therapy or not they dont care, i wish all shelters like that and control was shut down! i dont know how the women behind the desk can sit there and be fine with themselves

I hope you don't mind, I wander over to the petbulls' friends page when I'm bored.
This almost made me cry, and if I weren't at work, I probably would cry. I knew puppy mills and breeders were terrible but I had no idea. I've never bought a dog from a breeder and I never will.
I'm so glad there are people like you helping them. I hope when I have the finances and resources, I can do something like this too. Thank you for everything you do.
oh no i dont mind at all! usally my friends page is friends only but i left this open so it could be shared. :) i didnt save this dog i sadly dont have money to be a rescue (one day i really want too tho! i want a chow chow or pit bully/bully rescue, since they are very misunderstood dogs) but this is from a womens rescue page and what got her started into rescueing and it about made me cry too! Thats why i had to share it. have you ever watched dogtown? this women on there saved this one dog from a puppy mill it was horrible the conditions of the dog, as a mix with long fur and it was so matted and the pee smell she said wouldnt come out and she had to shave the dog, which she dindt want to do because she didnt want to freak out the do g anyumore then what it is. :(
Thank you for your compassion. I too was an animal rescuer and still do what I can to help. One suggestion, if you didn't, call the animal authorities on this monster. In my city animal cops are quite good and animal rescue groups have really pushed the big agencies to have good programs. You saw and the vet records show she is mistreating the dogs. The animals need to be taken from this abuser because they have lives of suffering and she held accountable. I am glad there are organizations working to make animal welfare laws stronger.
And again thank you for giving Safey at last the love all living beings deserve
This is actually now a very old case and now I just keep it up as a reminder or learning tool to those who do not know. some people are still very oblivious to such situations. But if it was a new case You'd best your butt if I knew all the inside details I'd try to help this dog out! :)
