The governator rejected Stanley Tookie Williams appeal for clemency. He's going to be executed just past midnight tonight.

I dont kow how i feel about the death penalty

oh thats cool. I'm one of those people thats like yay death penalty, and now this one has become so real. im having a hard time fathoming it

well, i think someone would have to be seriously emotionally unbalanced to be all 'alright! lethal injection - sweet!'

i guess sometimes you gotta think about the logistics of the whole thing to come to a solution that doesn't make you feel awful. the death penalty is not a great thing, but neither is murder, and neither is the already huge burden on the american tax payer. death period is hard to fathom. i don't like to think about it either.

I think what bothered me the most is not the whole death penalty thing, but the backlash thats going to come from it. Since san quentin is literally up the freeway from my house the news here is like OHH TOP STORY! They showed all of these protests with snoop dogg and all the people there were these WASP-y teenagers who just dont get that given the chance, tookie would literally "pop a cap in yo ass"! its that whole protesting is cool thing like when the war started
