I'm ridiculously in lust with this technique. Poring over every detail, drinking in its exquisite form. I've unraveled this hat 3 times for the sheer joy of casting-on again.

It took me a while to figure out where exactly I'd found the tutorial, but here it is.
A little warning: This is called the Italian Cast On, but on youtube there are videos for a very different Italian cast on.
