I'm ridiculously in lust with this technique. Poring over every detail, drinking in its exquisite form. I've unraveled this hat 3 times for the sheer joy of casting-on again.

If you don't hear from me for a week, it's because casting-on has broken out again.

Ooooo, now that's another smexy cast on. Dammit, I'm going to end up spending all my time casting on now, and get nothing finished.

Oh, sounds wonderfully exciting. I haven't done any knitting since I wnet back to work. Quite jealous now.

It took me a while to figure out where exactly I'd found the tutorial, but here it is.

A little warning: This is called the Italian Cast On, but on youtube there are videos for a very different Italian cast on.
