Tired and angry and buzzed from alcohol and STILL pissed that a *manager* at work decided to make shit up to get me and my coworker friend in trouble* and what bugs me the most is that we have NO IDEA WHY. The double-plus-ungood of this? I found out via word of mouth from another manager that the manager that started yesterday's kerfuffle? Started it based on *hearsay*. As in, no checking, no following up, just "i heard..."

WTF?

I am SO GLAD I emailed HR this morning demanding (as politely as possible, 'WTF is this shit?' and asking for any suggestions they had as to how to deal with it. Because SERIOUSLY? I refuse to accept that I can be written up because someone, somewhere, feels like advancing a malicious agenda.
