I'm always telling people that when I met Matt I just knew he was 'the one'. I know a lot of people don't really understand that and people are often asking 'but how do you just know?'. So I thought about it and I realised that the best way to explain it is using my shoe analogy. lol

Aww thanks so much! ^_^ *hugs* I believe that everyone can find the 'perfect fit' relationship! You just have to believe it is out there... even at the times when it's the hardest to believe that. I think everyone has bad experiences with love along the way but if you keep believing and don't let it get you jaded, in the end I believe that the right love will come ( ... )

I think it's like "I can't possibly imagine my life WITHOUT him and I can't remember my life BEFORE him, it seems like he's always been part of my life". That's my version of knowing Paul was the one.

This year will be out 16 year wedding anniversary! We've been together since we were 17 though--so we've been together like 18 years!

My approach to being with someone I could live my life with is really... well.. it involves 1 of 2 things... first... I was very lucky... second it involves learning for the better... Well at least I will always do that... and it's hard sometimes... I'm sure you know that communication is the most important part of a relationship... that's hard to do when you're love.. but not impossible.. it takes understanding... a lot of understanding ( ... )

I agree that relationships take work... but I also think that when the relationship is right the 'work' doesn't feel like work at all!

It's like when you find a job you love... when I make jewellery it is work but it sure doesn't feel like work! I love it! Whereas when I worked in an office doing admin it DID feel like work. :)
