another straining day at university... from early morning... though i admit some of our teachers are crazy... have you ever tried to write a precise instruction how to tie your shoelaces without any pictures or miming included? that's exactly the kind of task we get recently... i admit it is fun at least to checking if they work... especially that our teacher is quite malicious at times.... well so all that we got as a result was him grumbling that because of us his laces will be always badly managed now... lol... another thing that translators have to know except tying laces is apparently that wonderful skill of babbling... which i mastered quite well in writing (as can be seen here:)) but while speaking to an audience on a given topic without any preparations....ummm... well, it can be problematic especially if one has no idea what the topic is about really...
that's when you can actually turn into a psycho killer... hehe...
If i was a serial killer i would be The Zodiac Killer.
Over the course of almost 9 years in the 1970s the Zodiac Killer took the lives of over 13 people, either stabbing or shooting them to death in or by their vehicles. All the targets were the same, couples in cars off rural roads.
Taunting cops the Zodiac Killer would send in encrypted messages to the local papers, describing how his past victims had died, and who would come next if they didn't post his message on the cover of the newspaper the following day. The only surviving witness described the zodiac killer as a heavy set man in a self fashioned hooded jacked that covered his face, brandishing a crossed circle that he always signed his letters with.
After 1978 the killings stopped, the Zodiac's case was never solved.
