Wedding
My friend Jill from home got Married on Saturday at Duke Chapel. It was a beautiful ceremony and the reception after wards was lovely. They had it at this new hotel not far from my parents' house that just opened. A hotel that is striving for a five-star rating. And from what I saw, they deserve it. I've been working on updating the website for my internship site. And today it had gotten down to the last little bits. I had to get everything finalized and posted to the server. So my internship has been going really well. The past four weeks has just flown by. Of course that could have something to do with how busy I've been. Working on the Kidstock festival kept me running around in circles and even after it was over there was still stuff to do for it. Check out my pretty pretty quilt that I have worked and slaved over. 641 little squares painstakenly cut out and stitched together. Finally done. I am rather proud of myself.

So the next time I contemplate buying something... lets say a computer... and I say to myself 'oh the extended warranty costs an arm and a leg and really I've never had any trouble with my Dells.. and anything that is gonna go wrong will go wrong in the first year part wise...' smack me. trip to fort mill
I love Mina's new house. It is so cute and just the right size. Her neighborhood is great too. Very pretty... lots of trees and greenery. I have been having a lot of fun visiting with Mina over the weekend. Did some shopping, went with Mina to work a booth for the Girl Scouts at a health fair thingy. Did some relaxing. Sunday I went horseback riding with Mel. She let me ride her horse while she rode somebody else's. I had so much fun. Though Ben (Mel's horse) reared up some while I was mounting and the pommel slammed into my ribs on my left side. Wasn't too bad right after it happened but by now it hurts like a bitch. so much better
I love my new placement. My teacher is great and the kids are too. And... the best part... developmentally appropriate practices! Its great. I'm so happy. This is really the best thing that could have happened.
