Cosplay what I do

Ok, I have now gather almost and hopefully at the material I need for my Cardcaptor Sakura dress. I'm placing a lot of effort (and money) into this one costume and I'd love to get some feed, opinions and any help into making of this cosplay that I can. I'm tring to be open in my art, and cosplay is also my art. So, under a cut, I'm placing my plans

Thanks. But thing is, red or pink shoes? What do you think looks better?

If you could get the shoes in burgundy to match (or at least go with) the ribbons I'd say go for that, but I think the flash of red might look weird with the pink and burgundy (since you're not repeating it anywhere else in the costume) and so maybe you should go with pink. Saved your receipt? ;3

I like the sketches you made, and I can't wait to see further progress pics - you look like you have a good start! I need A-kon to be out of the way so I can work on my AFest stuff~! Woo Frey ^_^

I've kept all my receipts for this so I can keep an eye on how much I've spent. >.< I did think I should go pink and get burgundy ribbion for lacing them up.

I'm so iffy on wether I'll be going to animefest or not. Its the plane ticket that kills me the most.

I like all the material you've chosen...and in the picture the fabric doesn't look too glittery so I think using it for the top would like nice. I also like the trim you've chosen. This is going to be a very nice version of her drama dress. I've seen many fail versions and I am looking forward to seeing yours which I know will NOT be fail =D

Also I think since you've made the red ribbons into burgandy I would go for the pink shoes to match the dress and use burgandy ribbon to go up the leg. IF you could find burgandy shoes to match then you could do that, but in all of my shoe obsession I actually only own one pair of burgandy and they are a children's maryjane style that I wear. Burgandy is not an easy colour to come by.

New wig looks good too ^_^

As for the wings...I would say feathers since that one picture has all those feathers around her, but depending on how you use the craftfoam it could work out. I've made a pair using such for my Suu costume which I'll have to remember to take a picture of so you can see.

Hmm, agreeing with the rest that pink or burgandy shoes would be better since you have switched to that route now. And, if you can manage it, I would still try and do the lace up on the back. If you do glitter just for the top it shouldn't be too much. (Hard to tell how glittery something is without seeing it in person though). Underskirt would be okay...but I'd save it for later as what's on top matters more.

Also, one thing to consider with the wings, is transporting it.

Transport wigs very important. Must make it so they can fit in a suit case and also not get thrashed. >.
