That looks like a snail.

It's disgusting to look at but yummy to eat, well if that's what it is.

Ha ha I thought that said "it's got yummy feet" then (cos I'm sneaking a look as I'm supposed to be working!!!). It's a big disgusting scary slug (I trod on one barefoot once - it was huuuuge and popped under my feet) - I wouldn't eat it if you paid me!!!!! I can't believe it can live though with that "Death Becomes Her" size hole in it's body!!!! Think Wendy chucked it in the bin after she'd USED IT as a model!

...but it has no shell, causing me to believe that it is a slug!
Anyhow, do slugs and snails have genders, or are they all unisex like worms? Anyone know?

I thought it was a scary slug too, but looking at it it has those things sticking out of the top of its head and I'm wondering if the hole is caused by losing its shell? Think they are unisex actually - bleeeeuuuuuurgh!!!!!

You have a point regarding its antennae, and the possibility that perhaps the hole is the manifestation of an absent shell. One wonders how it might have lost it?! A battle of sorts?
