Ooo... I love pears. Probably my favorite fruit, although figs, when in season, are lovely, too. I have been eating a lot more fruit lately -- in my smoothie and also as a "dessert" after my supper (I generally share a pear with the birdies). I've even gotten Paul to eat three servings of fruit a day -- something he never did before because of it's sugar content. We both feel much healthier for it, and he has noticed that he has more energy. The natural sugars that one finds in fruit affect the body MUCH differently than the refined or man-made versions that are well avoided.
i don't think about pears much, but they are quite yummy - kind of like a better version of apples, lol. the thing that strikes me is that pears and figs both have really sensual texture things going on, lol.
i agree that the natural sugars in fruit are generally healthy - it's nature's perfect packaging for sugar. with the yeast imbalance thing, so many sources recommend avoiding fruit as well, and i just had to give up on that for the time being. we'll see if avoiding all the refined crap is good enough. if not, i'll reconsider avoiding fruit in the future.
i don't mind the mercury retrograde so much this time - been taking the time to catch up on unfinished business, which is ideal - except for all the stupid people at work, lol. they are a thorn in my side. at least it will be direct very soon.
and the smoothie was a little watery, but not in a bad way - the celery is pretty chunky so somehow that balanced it out pretty well.

The smoothie sounds intriguing, but I would think it might be watery. And seedless grapes are essential, I assume.
