Well, I got delayed a bit when my back was hurting too much to do anything, but I'm back to work on the Toy Story characters today. Mr Potato Head is starting to look like a potato, and I've made the base for Slinky and started putting him together.

I LOVE that I'm getting a day by day account of these creations. So much fun, I love Mr. Potato Head.

I also love that you're still thinking about a Hugh Laurie Action Figure

Indeed I am. I am thinking about it a lot, actually. I really just need to do it. Clay is cheap. If I screw it up, I can just start again. Screw it. Nobody ever has to see the ones that don't turn out right. I have to get over this ridiculous fear that some critical entity is watching me, mocking me at every step. I'm more critical of myself than anyone, and I'm never going to accomplish anything if I don't just gtf over it and do what I want to do.

So I have an idea. I'm thinking about making all my progress reports on the Toy Story thing public, then advertising my LJ at various places so anyone who wants to can peek in on it. I don't know how many people would be interested, but I'd like to see what kind of a response it gets. Might be fun. At the moment I'm out of masking tape so the only thing I can do is crumple paper and make bases, but it'll get much more interesting as it goes on. The masking tape should be here later this week. Yes. I think I'll do that. :-)

YEAH THAT'S EXACTLY RIGHT. CLAY CAN BE REMOULDED, DESTROYED... This is the time to celebrate you extraordinary talents and make Lauren yourself a Hugh Action Figure.

Woah that would be really cool! I think a lot of people would be interested with the progress. You should definitely show a picture of the UP! and Batman Characters too to say this is what I've done before, this is what is happening with the Toy Story Characters. I'm 99% sure there is a million of Disney Communities if you want to step it up to them. Ah what a great idea. It would definitely boost your confidence too! :)
