I have a quick update about the Iguana who I saved from negligence. He went to the vet today who looked him over real good. Didn't see any signs of mites. Parasites, we're just going to give him the medicaion he'll need for that, and some more medication for the worms in his belly. He's also being kept over night for a surgery in the morning. So I took the body of my boa that died suddenly to the vet for a necropsy yesterday. They are sending the organs to a lab somewhere in the state to be examined for toxins, etc. They are also sending the seemingly 5 billion mites that mysteriously appeared after death to the lab for testing as well ( Read more... )
