It's Wednesday and kind of late to be rehashing the weekend that just whizzed past but I'm going to do it anyway.  On Saturday, I went to a dress rehearsal of the Nutcracker.  It was free which was a good thing since this was my initiation into the world of ballet and tickets to the real thing are quite expensive.  What I saw was impressive but I'

I totally agree. My ma works herself crazy at Christmas, and I can't understand it. I know there's the pressure to make Christmas great and all, but she really shouldn't bother so much.

Just got back from The Nutcracker. I thought it was pretty good, but I definitely liked Dracula better. The Nutcracker I found my eyes glazing over a bit in the second half when it was all about the dancing. The costume and sets were definitely amazing though.
