Mini Movie Review
Beautiful costumes, wonderful set design and great soundtrack. Lovely but somewhat simplistic story of an orphan girl who is basically sold into slavery to a geisha house and then goes on to become one of Japan's most prominent Geisha. There was a bit of controversy over Rob Marshall's use of Chinese instead of Japanese actors in the pivotal roles. Three paws out of four...
