ten days as of now til my birthday.

it really kind of snuck up on me this year.

I'm not expecting much. I'm away from home,Ev's gone,my sister's got her baby,and those I'm staying with have more important things to think about.

I don't care,not really. birthdays for me have long since lost their draw. I haven't really had a good one in years.

*hugs* Birthdays still excite me, although I am starting to see why so many women hate birthdays and lie about their age. Growing up is so weird. Blah. I wish we could get together that weekend and spend it all partying. *hugs again*

I got into the mindset that it was a time for others to tell me how old I was getting... fortunately you're not that old, hon, so my best advice... make it a special day for yourself.. and be selfish about yourself that day.. that's all you can do if no one else does.
