Hey everyone I'm posting this here hoping for a miracle in a way. I help out this humane society and we desperately need a home for Benji he is an amazing cat; but hes draining our bank account. When you only run on donations its hard. He really needs a good home with someone who understands special needs cats. I am willing to set up a transportation with help from others where ever he may go. Hopefully someone who see him here and want him. Thanks in advanced everyone! Please pass the word around too!

Meet Benji

Can you give a special cat a home?

When Benji arrived at our shelter in January, he was so gorgeous that he was adopted out almost overnight. Unfortunately, in March he returned to the shelter. Benji's new owner discovered that Benji has diabetes and could not afford Benji's medical care.

The shelter sent Benji to a veterinarian for a check up and to learn what he will need. He is now in a foster home, receiving the twice daily insulin injections that he requires to continue to be the healthy, happy, gorgeous and "massively lovable" cat that he is. Benji's foster care parents report that he has settled in quite securely, demands to be allowed to sleep in their bed, is playful and friendly, has proven himself to be a great mouser and, when he gets your attention, will roll over to have his belly rubbed. They tell us Benji is just an all 'round high personality cat.

To adopt Benji we are seeking a disciplined animal lover who will follow Benji's strict routine of shots 2 times daily, one hour before eating. The adopter also must be able to afford Benji's ongoing insulin costs of approximately $30 a month as well as routine veterinarian check ups. Benji has been neutered.
We are also asking for donations towards Benji's vet care until he is adopted. Notate that the donation is "for Benji". Thank you.
