I used the Brigadine for soling only, but stuck with the Baron body (lvl 19/20? INT+1 MND+1) all the way to...I can't remember now. Probably Raven Jupon, which I wore full time until I got the AF body. If you can, go panty farming, because the RDM Jupon from there is hot sex. Lemme know if you wanna go, because I'd like one myself for my dark based spell macros.
Check out Magic Cuisses as well. They're pretty sweet for the time you can use them. INT+3 MND+3 if I remember correctly.

Actually Wir has let me borrow his Magic Cuisses! I'll actually have to get off my lazy but and make equip swapping macros, since the +30mp on my rse legs will be nice for convert.

You're better off farming in Sacrarium than the aqueducts for the RDM, I think. I'm game for some farming whenever, just let me know. I think you were there when I got mine, so you've seen at least one drop!
