I'm so glad that everyone on my friends' list who has answered this so far, has this view. I'm massively of the "if it isn't your issue, who are you to tell me what to do" camp on pretty much any viewpoint, and this is no different.
I know people are playing the "but what if the kid is going to be brought into a horrible environment/family/etc." card, but who draws the line on what is an "acceptable" environment and what's not? You know?
I am not reading the other writer's blocks posts. I regularly report posts supporting forced sterilization of the mentally ill, the disabled, the "entitled", the "stupid", and any number of things, to the mods at cf_h; some people do not seem to get that reproductive choice means choice. Yes, that means even that woman popping out her seventh baby on welfare has a choice. Or that person with the disability you hate so much. Etc.
