Mandatory draft bill males and females (ages 18-26)

Please go out & VOTE! I don't want to have to move to Japan because of a stupid draft....

If this bill passes, it will include all men and ALL WOMEN from ages 18 -
26 in a draft for military action. In addition, college will no longer be an option for avoiding the draft and they will be signing an agreement with the Canada which will no longer

I've seen this thing about 10 times already. Here are the facts:

A) This bill is being proposed by Democrats, not Republicans.
B) Bush doesn't have the power to insitute the draft, that's Congress
C) This bill was made to be an anti-war statement

But that did not say if democrats or republican's proposed it... on our Fox News here it said it was the republican's....but you could be right. Who knows the news always lies?

Bush might not have the sole power to re-instate the draft but it's strange that congress is dealing with the bill silently.

It's because the people who proposed the bill didn't do it seriously, it's meant to create fear in people. You can look it up on Snopes (the urban legends site)

So then who wants this bill to pass? The democrats or the republicans? I've also heard it's the republicans, that makes more sense to me, but I'm still not sure.
