you know it's going to be a good day when you leave your house at 6:15 when you normally leave at 7:45. it's also going to be stellar because you wore flat boots with zippers. the high note however, is stepping out the door, into a three inch puddle and then walking up the driveway that's actually a lake deep enough to drown in and being too damned

Oh yeah, I had a few of those puddles myself on the way to work. My feet are the wet.

If it's any consolation, I read this before leaving my house and it prompted me to pack an extra set of socks, so my boots are soaked through but my feet are dry now! Thanks!!
