I was~! For once! :D I spent the first two classes today making a chart of what I've done with my special needs class each semester I've been here. And then I charted out the vocab and grammar we've covered. Now I don't have to go digging through my teachering planner every time I need to know if we've done something already or what we haven't done ( Read more... )

Nope, gonna wait til after paying for shakken on Monday or the paycheck on Wednesday to start looking.

Parts of my house are exactly as cold as outside is. My heating system (kotatsu and space heater) can only keep one or two rooms warm at a time, and my kitchen is super-drafty so I gave up even trying for that room. The bathroom is off the kitchen so it also suffers from same-as-outside temperatures, but that's okay because a hot shower makes everything warm. Luckily I live on the plains so it very, very rarely even hits 0 here. I think our average temperature is +5 or something.

I had no idea toothpaste could freeze either! But one of the northerners was talking about it and I realized that was probably the weird thing that happened to my toothpaste last year.
