Yay art museums!

The Tokugawa Art Museum in Nagoya was pretty awesome! I went with Raven and Chisako. They had some cool exhibits including a bunch of tea ceremony, noh theatre, and ancient court game things. They also have old Genji Monogatari (Tale of Genji) manuscripts including a reproduction of surviving parts of the oldest know illustrated copy (check it out ( Read more... )

Well not really. I got to see a reproduction of the oldest surviving illustrated version. The original doesn't exist anymore and it looks like there's quite a complex history to the whole thing. It was still neat though!

How's your ankle and leg?

Aw, I am sad to hear that. But I am glad you haven't fractured it! Vitamin E is a good thing, but give it some time to be dry, too. I think Nicole used to put vitamin E on once a day after her surgery. /nagging.

What movies have you watched? Have you watched Merlin yet? I think you would like it. The characters are endearing and it's good clean fun except when it gets more emotionally complex.
