Word up, my peeps. For once I have an excuse for my absence.

First, I was sick and spent two weeks in the hospital. I was bleeding from the brain. I stopped. Ten days later I was back in the hospital, and worse.

I had emergency brain surgery. This was last Monday.

I can mask it well but I was on pins and needles for a while not knowing what was going on. I only knew that your vitals were stable from what Smam could relay to me. (Our family here has been praying for you and your recovery, love.)

I love you. I wanted to let you know how things were going, but I felt so awful. And I knew Z was too worried to do any updating on my behalf. Apparently they were afraid I would die before surgery... I don't remember much of that weekend.

Update: COMPLETELY RIDICULOUSLY, the scar has healed up into the most innocent looking thing.

Also, I thought my time in the hospital would do away with my minor medical fetish, and it did for a while, but now I'm back to "hey! a LITTLE of blood (not from your brain) is totally okay!"
