Just a thought

The absurdity of these comments makes me RAGE. I can't believe someone really thought about this in this kind of situation....

What is happening in Japan is terrifying,  the number of victims is increasing every minute....I can't think of how many people and animals are dying.
Unfortunately I don't have money or time to donate anything at the moment ( Read more... )

The I-PAD 2 whining today made me want to vomit, but this is even more sickening. For fuck's sakes, thousands are probably dead. Who gives a shit about anime?

haven't heard about the I-Pad2 whining and I feel lucky for this.
There is an awful lot of comments like those on the internet and it makes me sick....those people have really messed up priorities (and there are even people saying that Japan deserved it...yeah, sure.)

It upsets me. Japan =/= anime, no matter how much a person might like it.

it upset me a lot too, I appreciate anime and everything but it's surely not what I'm worried about when people and animals are dying! And now some people are fandomizing on it...truly unbelievable, what do they have in their heads?

*hugs* ♥

I actually find those comments hilarious. Comments like that are so stupid I feel like there's just no point in even getting mad about them.

I'm terribly sorry for what is happening in Japan, but I believe in their resources and in the help they will receive from other countries...sad to say, where isn't political interest the economical help is way less.

I'm Japanese, and I have very dear friends living in the area that was affected, but I have to say I do agree with you on this. There was terrible flooding in the Middle East a while back, and I'm pretty sure at least as many people died, but NO ONE CARED, because it's not a country the US benefits from helping.

Yeah, you are probably right...but it's worrying how many comments like those ones are on the internet :/

I hope all your friends are alright! I'm ovbiously not saying that helping Japan is wrong, that would be crazy, I just wish people didn't forget about other countries in the same or even worse situations, and they take a more thoughtful decision about this, while some seem to be like "I'll help there because I like this country more!"....that's racism.
What should be changed is information, we know NOTHING about some countries cause there is no interest in letting us know and not anyone is willing to search for informations by themselves

Sorry for the late reply btw ^^'

Agree with you all the way!!!

Living in Latin America, I KNOW there are places that have been and even ARE in a worse situation. Chile had a pretty intense earthquake and nobody cared as much ...

Yeah, here in Europe we didn't heard almost anything about the heartquake in Chile, nobody talked about it, and nobody talks about Haiti or other countries anymore, like everything is fine now...I'm truly sorry for Japan, and I hope all the best for japanese people, but we shouldn't forgot other disasters everytime a new one happens....

we didn't hear the 10th about chile than we did about JApan. And we are right next to Chile!!!

I don't like it AT ALL for one. I'm more worried about countries like the forgotten Indonesia =/

They are also making things bigger than they are o.O

That's crazy....

Me too, who knows where life will be back to "normal" in some countries recently hit by disasters, I wonder how many even remember about the tsunami in Indonesia or the earthquake in Chile...not that many I think.
Haiti is the poorest country in the world, epidemic disease are killing more people than the earthquake itself and tourist are crowing in Santo Domingo.....the whole thing is paradoxical.

I think information is pretty confused about Japan at the moment, both for the nuclear danger and for the damages the country got as a whole, they are not distinguish between the area hit by the tsunami and other parts of Japan, or at least, that's the idea I got
